Latina/o Bar Association Of Washington - The Latina/o Bar Association of Washington (LBAW) is a non-profit and non-partisan organization whose mission and purpose is to represent the concerns and goals of Latino attorneys and Latino people of the State of Washington. LBAW creates and produces a variety of events targeted towards the Latino community, including but not limited to:  free legal clinics, State-wide Know-Your-Rights forums, Spanish-speaking attorney referrals and fundraising.   To do so, LBAW encourages and promotes the active participation of all Latino attorneys throughout the State and seek the involvement of Latino political, governmental, educational and business leaders.  Efforts are made to support Latino students and to recognize the needs and voice the concerns of Latino people and their communities. Of importance is the need to promote Latino judicial appointments, encourage respect for the integrity of the judicial system, and the pursuit of fairness, justice and equality.
